But my job (and staying there and putting up with everyone's foibles) enables me to take risks in a more 'calculated' way (I guess) and leaving it would be a big step for me. I would have to 'wean' myself off the job (while doing something else on the side) before I can teake that 'big step')Night Owl 67https://www.blogger.com/profile/16764068619182331781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1403012288289020503.post-66817228565801207322011-05-26T02:50:27.266+10:002011-05-26T02:50:27.266+10:00Well said!!!Well said!!!Night Owl 67https://www.blogger.com/profile/16764068619182331781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1403012288289020503.post-6954037627859226122011-05-19T12:33:54.547+10:002011-05-19T12:33:54.547+10:00Thank you Jane. A lot of people question the big decisions we've made (moving interstate, buying and selling businesses, more moving, homeschooling), but we have made them after a lot of fact gathering and soul searching. They may not always pan out the way we wanted (Queensland?), but we learnt something along the way and hopefully contributed to a fulfilling life.Ingihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06396226904711922049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1403012288289020503.post-23575724764863713482011-05-19T08:53:59.922+10:002011-05-19T08:53:59.922+10:00I agree. I know people who have failed at their attempt at starting a business. But did they really? They did something many of us dream to do. The road not taken is certainly not a guaranteed path to success. But neither is comfort.

I think you've been brave to make the decisions you've made this past year and hope you reap more than you ever expected.jane_ashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16679066149024270411noreply@blogger.com
